This is the announcement for the 2025 Global Korea Scholarship for Graduate Degrees.

1. Number of Scholars (Uganda) : 6 (Embassy Track)

2. Programs and Universities

o Degree Programs: Master's Degree / Doctoral Degree / Research

o Available Fields of Study: Applicants can only apply to the universities and departments that are listed in the  'University Information' file attached. 

* Embassy track application may choose up  to THREE different universities from Type A and B and MUST apply to at least one of the universities from Type B

3. Eligibility

- Ugandan Citizenship

- Degree Requirements (Attached file 1) (Applicants must have obtained the required degree by 28th February 2025)

- Grades (Attached file 1) (Cumulative Grade Point Average(CGPA) must be equal to or above 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5 or 3.23/5.0 or Score percetile should be 80% or above on a 100-point scale or be ranked in the top 20% of one's class)

- Age under 40 years old (born after September 1, 1985)  

* Age under 45 years old for the professor in ODA recipient countries

- Health

- Restriction (Attached file 1)

4. Deadline of Application Submission

- 10th Feb 2025 - 4th March 2025

- The applicants should submit the required documents in person during operating hours

   (Mon-Thu: 9:00-15:00 / Fri: 9:00-11:00)

- Application documents must be submitted in the order of the checklist.

  Insufficient application documents will be excluded from the screening.

- The names of successful candidates for the interview will be posted on 13th March, 2025, and interview will take place in the embassy on 19th March, 2025. (* Interview date can be changed.)
