Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uganda

As part of the Taekwondo promotion project supported by the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation in Korea, the Korean Embassy in Uganda organized a Taekwondo Poomsae Intensive Training Program. Master Kim from Kukkiwon taught 14 Ugandan Taekwondo instructors and leaders from September 10 to October 25, 2024.

A graduation ceremony was held on October 25, 2024 and certificates of completion were awarded to the them. The Embassy extends sincere appreciation to those who attended the graduation ceremony.

Meanwhile, the Daily Monitor, a major Ugandan daily newspaper, reported on the graduation ceremony in its print edition on October 28, 2025 (Monday).
